In order to benefit from the services offered by LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS, we ask you to read the general conditions below carefully. These general conditions apply to the booking period running from 12 September 2025 to 27 March 2026, for stays taking place from 27 March 2026 to 8 November 2026. These conditions govern the sale of stays and are valid from the payment of the deposit. Booking a stay implies full acceptance of our general conditions.
These conditions may be modified at any time and / or supplemented by LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS. In this case, the new version will automatically apply to any new customer, who will be informed of it by its publication on the website: www.lescriques.com. The purchaser acknowledges being fully informed that his agreement to the content of these general terms and conditions of sale does not require a handwritten or electronic signature on this document.

PREAMBLE
The conditions governing activities relating to the organisation and sale of travel or stays are determined by the Tourism Code and more particularly by Articles L. 211-1 et seq. of said Code. The purpose of these general terms and conditions of sale is to govern the contractual relations relating to the sale of individual stays between CAMPAR and its customers, and to set out their respective obligations. The fact that CAMPAR does not rely on one or more of the provisions of the general conditions shall not be interpreted as a waiver. Any booking implies the unconditional application by the customer of, and his full acceptance of, the general conditions, which prevail over any other document. Unless otherwise agreed in writing in advance by CAMPAR, these general conditions apply to all customers. Any document other than the general terms and conditions of sale, in particular catalogues, brochures, advertisements and notices, is for information purposes only.

SERVICES, BOOKINGS, RATES

1 – BOOKING AND PAYMENT FOR STAYS

  • The components of the services provided during our stays are determined on our website www.lescriques.com. From 12 September 2025, we invite you to consult the rates in force on our website or to benefit from personalised assistance by contacting our team on +33 (0) 4 68 81 12 73. The customer has access to the online catalogue or paper brochure, or has our services explained by our booking agents on site, by telephone or electronically. He determines himself the services of his choice on the day of booking. The customer acknowledges having taken note of the content of the services, the destination and booking procedures, and all the characteristics of the stays and rental accommodation. He acknowledges having requested and obtained all the information necessary to make a booking in full knowledge of the facts. The customer is responsible for his choice of booking and its suitability to his needs, so that the liability of LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS cannot be sought. The booking shall be deemed accepted by the customer at the end of the booking process. The booking process ends when LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS receives the deposit for the stay.
    • The booking becomes effective only with the agreement of the campsite, after receipt of the deposit and after receipt either of the booking contract duly completed and signed, or after acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale when booking online.
    • Bookings are binding on LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS only if LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS has accepted them, which LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS is free to do or refuse, depending on availability, and more generally on all circumstances likely to hinder the performance of the booking made. In particular, LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS offers stays with a traditional family orientation, and the rental accommodation is specially designed for this purpose. Thus, LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS reserves the right to refuse any booking that would be contrary to this principle, or that would seek to circumvent it.
    • Subject to availability on the requested dates, you may book a stay according to the terms stated on page 1.
    • Your registration request must be accompanied by a deposit of 100 euros for a pitch or 200 euros for a rental and must reach us within a maximum period of 7 days from your booking. Your booking will become final only after your deposit has been recorded. The balance of the price must be paid no later than 30 days before your arrival date. Thus:
    *** For bookings made more than 30 days before the start of the stay: a deposit must be paid when booking at the campsite. The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start date of the stay at the campsite.
    *** For bookings made less than 30 days before the start date of the stay: full payment must be made at the time of booking at the campsite.
    WARNING: After these deadlines, if we have not received your deposit or balance payment, we will consider your booking cancelled and we will put the corresponding services back on sale. In addition, the cancellation conditions will apply.
    Upon receipt of your deposit, a stay confirmation will be sent to you specifying the balance still to be paid.
    Any person arriving at the place of stay without having paid the balance in advance will be refused. In the case of registration less than thirty days before departure, the customer must pay the full price at the time of booking. The date on which this booking may possibly take place will not always allow us to send you a stay confirmation. You will then be deemed to have accepted all the information contained in these general conditions or communicated orally to you.
    For rental stays, and for safety reasons, the number of persons arriving for the stay may under no circumstances exceed the number of places in the accommodation assigned and the number of persons mentioned on the contract. Supplements in the event of over-occupancy of the accommodation, that is to say occupation in excess of the standard occupancy capacity, may be applied in amounts varying according to the sites and periods. Rates are communicated at the time of booking.
    • WARNING: Any shortened, interrupted or cut short stay (late arrival, early departure) or unused service shall not give rise to any refund.

2 – METHODS OF PAYMENT FOR THE STAY

You may pay for your stay, necessarily accompanied by the booking form: by bank cheques, holiday vouchers: CAMPAR has received approval from the Agence Nationale pour les Chèques Vacances, and you may use them for all your stays. We advise you to send your cheques by registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt. Cheques not sent by registered mail and not received by CAMPAR remain the responsibility of the customer. They are valid at their face value up to the amount due in payment for your stay, no later than when the balance is paid. In the event of cancellation, any refund will be made by: bank cheque, bank cards: Visa, Mastercard or by bank transfer.

3 – RATES

3.1 : Rates and tourist taxes
• The rates for all our stays, rental accommodation and ancillary services can be consulted on our website. Rates are determined by category and type of rental accommodation and are expressed in euros. LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS cannot be held responsible for changes in exchange rates.
• The prices indicated are valid for the 2026 season. They are per night and are expressed in euros. The tourist tax applies to persons over 18 years old (from 01/01/2026: 0.86 euros in Argelès-sur-Mer). An eco-participation fee of 0.34 euros per night and per person also applies to all guests, from 0 to 99 years old.
• Our prices inclusive of taxes are subject to change in the event of an increase in the tax rates to which our stays are subject.
• Rates are dynamic and change throughout the season, enabling the customer to benefit from the most advantageous price on the day of booking. The earlier you book, the more advantageous the prices are.
• In view of the above and the active role of the customer in determining the rate applicable to his stay, which depends on how far in advance the booking is made, CAMPAR may under no circumstances be held responsible for a difference in cost between two stays booked for the same period.

3.2 : Price reductions – Promotional offers
If you benefit from a price reduction as part of a promotional offer, you must claim it when booking. Promotional offers are subject to certain conditions, in particular availability. Furthermore, price reductions or promotional offers cannot be combined with one another. Once the confirmation or invoice has been issued, the customer may no longer claim any reduction.

4 – MODIFICATION OF THE BOOKING

Changes to your booking may be made free of charge up to 30 days before your original arrival date, subject to availability. We kindly ask you to notify us promptly in writing or by email.
Any request for modification can only be accepted subject to availability (at the current applicable rate) and will be confirmed by CAMPAR in writing or by email.
WARNING: In the absence of an express request for modification and indication of a postponement of your arrival date, the rental accommodation may be made available for sale again 24 hours after the arrival date mentioned on the contract, and you will consequently lose the benefit of your booking as well as the amount paid.

4.2 : Modification by CAMPAR
When, before departure, compliance with one of the essential elements of the stay is made impossible by an unforeseeable and unavoidable event, by the act of a third party unconnected with the provision of the services provided for in the contract, or by a case of force majeure, we will inform you immediately. You will then have the option either to cancel the stay or to accept the modification that we propose. You must then inform us of your choice within 72 hours (cancellation will entail the immediate refund of all sums paid, whereas acceptance will only give rise, where applicable, to reimbursement of any overpayment). It is specified that the application of this provision shall not give rise to the payment of any compensation.

5 – CANCELLATION OF THE BOOKING

5.1: Cancellation by the Customer

In the event of cancellation, the customer is required to inform CAMPAR as soon as possible in writing (by standard mail or email).
Any cancellation request must be confirmed in writing. The date taken into account for the cancellation will be the date the email or letter is sent, with the postmark serving as proof.

5.1.1 : Cancellation cover
It is possible to subscribe to cancellation cover. The contribution is 3 euros per day, to be multiplied by the total number of nights of your stay. This cancellation cover allows you to be reimbursed for any sums paid, excluding the amount of the cover itself and the 26-euro service fee. The cancellation cover applies without reason or supporting documents. The cancellation cover ends on the day before the arrival date.

5.1.2 : Cancellation giving rise to a partial refund
Without subscribing to our cancellation cover, we guarantee reimbursement of all sums paid, excluding the 26-euro booking fee and a fixed cancellation penalty of 30 €, if your cancellation request reaches us up to 30 days before the arrival date. No supporting document is required.

5.1.3 : Cancellation giving rise to no refund
Without subscribing to our cancellation cover, if the cancellation reaches us less than 30 days before the arrival date, it shall not give rise to any refund or postponement.

5.2 : Cancellation by CAMPAR
In the event of cancellation by CAMPAR, without the offer of an equivalent substitute solution, you will obtain the immediate refund of all sums paid. However, such cancellation shall not give rise to the payment of damages.
Likewise, in the event of cancellation by CAMPAR due to an event constituting force majeure, as defined in Article 1148 of the Civil Code, only an immediate refund of the sums paid will be made, to the exclusion of any other compensation.

YOUR STAY

1 : STAY TERMS

The reservation of a camping pitch or rental accommodation is strictly personal. Under no circumstances may you sublet or transfer your reservation without the prior consent of the campsite. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. For further information regarding rental accommodations suitable for and accessible to persons with reduced mobility, please contact the reception.

1.1 : Camping pitch
The basic rate includes the pitch for the tent, caravan or motorhome, one car and 1 or 2 persons, and access to reception facilities.

1.2 : Rental accommodation
• The rental accommodation is equipped. The basic package is for 1 to 7 persons depending on the type of rental accommodation.
• LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS reserves the right to refuse access to the campsite to groups or families arriving with a number of participants exceeding the capacity of the rented accommodation or to increase the amount of the stay.
• Possibility of choosing a specific rental accommodation number (subject to availability).

2 – ARRIVAL

2.1 : Handing over of keys
Depending on the period, arrival days may vary. On the day of your arrival at LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS, rental accommodation will be available from 4 p.m. However, in the event of early arrival and subject to our availability, everything will be done to reduce the waiting time.

2.2 : Security deposit
A security deposit of 200 euros is required from the customer upon arrival. It must be paid on arrival by bank card or cheque. This deposit will be returned to the customer on the day of departure after full verification (INVENTORY) of the bungalow. Management reserves the right to retain all or part of the deposit in the event of failure to comply with hygiene requirements and / or respect for the rented equipment. If the tenant’s departure is to take place outside reception opening hours, the rental accommodation will be inspected later and the deposit returned by post. Retention of the security deposit does not exclude additional compensation in the event that the costs exceed its amount.

3 – DURING YOUR STAY

3.1 : Internal rules
Internal rules are displayed within the campsite. We thank you for reading and complying with them. All customers must comply with the provisions of the internal rules. Each tenant is responsible for any disturbances and nuisances caused by the persons staying with him or visiting him.

3.2 : Losses, theft, damage
CAMPAR may not be held liable in the event of loss, theft or damage to personal belongings in our residences, whether in the accommodation, car parks or common premises. CAMPAR therefore declines all liability in the event of theft, fire, bad weather, etc., or in the event of an incident falling under the holidaymaker’s civil liability. CAMPAR also declines all liability concerning the tenant’s valuables, belongings and personal items.

Customers may, on request, entrust certain valuable items to reception (with the exception of cash and luxury items) so that they may be placed in the reception safe, provided that they are deemed appropriate by the establishment (e.g. vehicle keys). Reception reserves the right to refuse to take charge of any item that does not meet these criteria.

We advise you to contact your insurance company in order to obtain, if necessary, an extension of your personal cover.

3.3 : Animals
Pets are accepted on camping pitches and in the specified rentals. They must be constantly supervised and kept on a lead by their owner during the stay. Any failure in terms of hygiene (cleaning kit available free of charge at reception) or safety caused by the animal may be sanctioned by the expulsion of its owners. Vaccination records for dogs and cats must be up to date. Access by first-category dogs to public transport, public places other than the public highway, and premises open to the public is strictly prohibited. Second-category dogs must be muzzled and kept on a lead by an adult.

4 – DEPARTURE
On the departure day indicated on your contract, the rental accommodation must be vacated before 10 o’clock in the morning. The rental accommodation must be returned in a perfectly clean condition, and the inventory may be checked; any broken or damaged item will be charged to you, as will restoration of the premises if this proves necessary. Your deposit will be returned at the end of the stay after deduction of compensation retained for any damage noted in the departure inspection. Retention of the deposit does not exclude additional compensation in the event that the costs exceed its amount. If the rental accommodation has not been cleaned before your departure, a cleaning fee will be charged (65 euros for cleaning). For any delayed departure, you may be charged an additional day at the current nightly rate.

OTHER CONDITIONS

1 – COMPLAINTS
Our customers have access to a complaints mechanism to report any dissatisfaction relating to the course of their stay. To submit complaints, the customer may contact us by post (LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS, Route de Collioure, 66700 ARGELES-SUR-MER), by e-mail (contactcdp@lescriques.com), or by means of our satisfaction surveys handed out at the end of the stay.

During the stay, our reception teams are available:
In low season from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and in high season from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 7 days a week.

Complaints may concern the conformity of the rental accommodation with the booking, or the conformity of the services with the customer’s expectations. Management undertakes to respond in detail to any written complaint provided it is not anonymous. Where the customer expects compensation in relation to his complaint, it must be set out in a registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt addressed to the campsite manager within the month following the stay, without omitting the file number.

2 – LIABILITY
In accordance with the provisions of Article L.212-1 of the Consumer Code, LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS undertakes to ensure that its services comply with the regulations in force. The customer expressly acknowledges that LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS may not be held liable, due to the communication by its partners or by any third party of false information appearing in the brochure or on the LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS website concerning the host sites, and in particular presentation photos, descriptions, activities, leisure facilities, services and operating dates. All photos and texts used in the brochure or on the LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS website are non-contractual. They are for indicative purposes only.
It may happen that certain activities and facilities offered by the campsite and mentioned in the description appearing in the brochure are withdrawn, particularly for climatic reasons or in the event of force majeure as defined by the French courts.
CAMPAR is responsible for the proper performance of all obligations arising from the contract. However, CAMPAR shall be exempt from liability where the non-performance or poor performance of the contract is attributable either to the customer, or to the unforeseeable and unavoidable act of a third party unconnected with the provision of the services provided for in the contract, or to a case of force majeure as defined in Article 1148 of the Civil Code.

3 – DISPUTE
Any complaint concerning non-conformity of the services with the contractual commitments must first be reported in writing and by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt to the campsite manager. The Customer and LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS expressly acknowledge that their relationship is governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, jurisdiction is vested in the courts located where the campsite is situated.

4 – PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
The information that you communicate to us when placing your order will not be transmitted to any third party. This information will be regarded by LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS as confidential. It will be used only by the internal departments of LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS for processing your order and for strengthening and personalising communication and the offer of services reserved for LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS customers according to your interests. In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, you have the right to access, rectify, and object to personal data concerning you. 5 – SPECIAL CONDITIONS CRIQUES DE PORTEILS
LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS is open from 27 March to 8 November 2026. In low season, reception is open continuously from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., 7 days a week.
In high season, reception is open continuously from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., 7 days a week.
During these hours, the reception team handles customer reception, booking management, payments and collections, handling of requests for information and / or complaints, escorting customers to their camping pitch or rental accommodation, as well as coordination of technical interventions and repairs where necessary.

Our night reception and security service is provided continuously 7 days a week, from 7 p.m. in low season and from 8 p.m. in high season.
It takes over from the reception teams solely for late arrivals, customer placement and customer information. The night reception and security agent is responsible for ensuring the peace and quiet of the site, compliance with the internal rules, and the safety of persons and property. He is not authorised to carry out administrative, commercial or financial operations falling within the remit of reception (bookings, collections, handling complaints or non-urgent technical interventions).

Possibility of choosing a specific rental accommodation number (subject to availability at the time of booking). Each booking includes a parking space for ONE VEHICLE ONLY. Access to the LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS site for any additional vehicle, provided the person holds a booking, will be charged. This price includes access to the site and does not guarantee a parking space. Final cleaning, bed linen and towels are included in PREMIUM rental accommodation. Bed linen can be rented on site or brought by guests.

6 – POLICE REGISTRATION FORMS
In accordance with Decree 2015-1002 of 18 August 2015, operators of campsites, caravan parks and other developed grounds are required to have each person complete and sign, upon arrival, an individual police registration form, the model of which is set by joint order of the Minister of the Interior, the Minister for Immigration and the Minister for Tourism. The personal data collected in this way include in particular:

  1. Surname and first names;
  2. Date and place of birth;
  3. Nationality;
  4. Usual residence;
  5. Mobile telephone number and email address;
  6. Date of arrival at the establishment and expected date of departure.

7 – CONSUMER DISPUTE MEDIATION
In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code concerning “the consumer dispute mediation process”, the customer has the right to use, free of charge, the mediation service offered by LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS. The consumer law mediator thus offered is Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice.
This mediation service may be contacted by post at: CM2C, 14 rue Saint Jean, 75017 Paris.

8 – LOST PROPERTY
– Reception and storage of lost property:
Once found, items are recorded in our database. They will be kept for 30 days. Perishable or dangerous materials are immediately destroyed.
– Reporting a loss:
You may report a loss by telephone or directly at reception. Our teams can answer all your questions and record your report on 04 68 81 12 73 or by email: contactcdp@lescriques.com
– Recovered items:
If your item is found, you may collect it directly from reception on presentation of proof of identity within 30 days, or receive it at your home. In the latter case, a return fee of 30€ will be charged to cover service costs.
– Unreturned lost property
Failing return to the owner within 1 month, the item will be handed over to a public-interest association or destroyed.

SPECIFIC PROVISIONS RELATING TO ONLINE BOOKING

1 – TECHNICAL DETAILS CONCERNING ONLINE BOOKING PROCEDURES
As previously indicated, the customer has the option of booking his stay online on the website www.lescriques.com. Notwithstanding the automatic application of the previous clauses of these general terms and conditions to any booking regardless of its form, the technical procedures for online booking are specified here. The customer chooses his booking on the internet according to availability and the applicable rate. The customer also has the option of choosing certain optional services. This online booking is carried out in several stages allowing the customer to check that the chosen stay complies with his wishes and to go back over his booking before validating it definitively.
Final validation of the booking allows the customer to check that it fully complies with his wishes and that he gives his agreement to these general terms and conditions of sale before proceeding to secure payment of the required deposit. At the end of these stages, LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS will confirm the recorded booking by email, which also refers to these general terms and conditions of sale. The booking is considered firm from the time the customer receives the email from LES CRIQUES DE PORTEILS confirming the booking. This confirmation constitutes the date of conclusion of the sales contract and the date of acceptance of these general terms and conditions.

2 – ONLINE PAYMENT AND TRANSACTION SECURITY
It is recalled:
– that an initial deposit is paid when booking your stay online,
– that the balance of your stay will be debited 30 days before your arrival. Payment is made online by bank card (Visa, Carte Bleue, American Express, MasterCard only) and by secure payment. Every necessary means is implemented to ensure the confidentiality and security of the data transmitted on the web. To this end, the website uses a secure SSL (Secure Socket Layer) payment module so that the information transmitted is encrypted by software and no third party may gain knowledge of it.
